1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the EduGaims platform, website, and services. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

EduGaims is an audio-immersive mental simulation platform for healthcare education, developed in Oxford, United Kingdom.

2. Medical Disclaimer

All content on EduGaims — including audio simulations, scenarios, and learning materials — is provided for educational purposes only. It does not constitute clinical advice, medical diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

EduGaims simulations are designed to supplement clinical training and continuing professional development. They are not a substitute for direct clinical supervision, hands-on training, or professional medical judgement. Always follow your institution’s clinical guidelines and protocols.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity under your account.

Notify us immediately at edugaims@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in misuse, or infringe on intellectual property rights.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the EduGaims platform — including audio simulations, scenarios, scripts, narrations, the mental simulation technique, images, branding, and software — is the intellectual property of EduGaims and its content authors, and is protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly perform any content from the platform.
• Record, download, or extract audio simulations or scenario scripts.
• Replicate the mental simulation technique or methodology for commercial purposes.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content or data from the platform.
• Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the platform.

5. Acceptable Use

The platform is provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use. You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense any content or access.
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the platform’s operation.
• Use the platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purpose.
• Engage in phishing, spamming, or social engineering targeting EduGaims users or staff.

6. Purchases & Subscriptions

Course purchases are one-time payments that grant you access to the included modules. Prices are displayed in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. EduGaims does not store your card details (see our Privacy Policy for details).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduGaims’ total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to EduGaims in the 12 months preceding the claim.

EduGaims shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or clinical outcomes.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in intellectual property infringement, or misuse the platform. Upon termination, your right to access purchased content ceases.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at edugaims@gmail.com.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
